In October 1997, Post Danmark signed a contract with Escher Group to automate over 1,200 postal counters across Denmark. Within nine months of signing the contract, Post Danmark began its pilot. Without problems and on schedule, the countrywide rollout was completed in 1999. Currently, 357 post offices are using Riposte® to automate 1,259 counter positions.

In 2002, Post Danmark announced that it was upgrading to WebRiposte™ to develop an Internet-based Bulk Mails™ application, which makes the bulk mailing process faster and more convenient for its 8,000 commercial customers.
