Singapore Post operates 60 post offices, with a total of 300 counters. By implementing Riposte® in 1996, Singapore Post eliminated manual backup to floppy disks and dramatically reduced queue times. In addition, the Central Office has access to complete transaction data information.
In July 2001, Singapore Post selected WebRiposte™ in order to upgrade its counter automation system. For Singapore Post, WebRiposte provided a clear migration path toward Web-based applications. These applications can run seamlessly alongside existing Riposte applications, but more importantly, they can be deployed beyond couner automation networks into other parts of the enterprise, over the Internet, and even into customer and partner organizations.
